lyrics

Streetlights on outside my home. Another note up on the door- it's nice to be alone. Let's leave the front door open wide. You're resurrected where you're crucified.
Quicksand- you're sinking. Hope just leads to pain. Just keep on digging. I don't feel the same, all colors fade. We start again. Quicksand- you're sliding. Weighted by your pride. Just keep on climbing til the sky is all you see. A broken bone is just a chance to heal, a brighter color on my color wheel. The barest tree is brown but isnt dead. A brighter palette across my vision spreads.
Feast of famine, drown or drought, the sun will rise on you and dry my foolishness and doubt. In hazy rooms where we reside the sun will rise. We'll be revived, complete, revitalized.
Paying the price for the time you've wasted and the past that's been weighing on you.
Cursed with potential and expectation; in a second was lifted.
Never deserving the love you're given: the albatross that's been hanging on you.
It isn't who you are, but you'll carry it anyway.
Streetlights on outside my home, on a spinning mass of blue. If it spins too fast for you, keep hanging on. Leave the front door open wide. Come in and watch the sky, it's all you see.
A broken bone is just a chance to heal, a brighter color on my color wheel. The barest tree is brown but isnt dead. A brighter palette across my vision spreads.
